I want my hair back!!!

So, I cut my hair a while back. Maybe when I was pregnant. I can't really recall, but I loved it. And over the past few months it's just gotten shorter and shorter and I'm not loving it so much anymore. I want my hair back! I need something to distract people from my fat face and double chin, not draw their attention to it. Oh man, no more cutting for me for a while. I just hope it grows fast. It has in the past but I haven't tried growing it out since I had Harlee so we will have to see. Please wish me luck, or pray for me, or something. ANYTHING!!! Thank you. :)

Oh fun!

Well, this past weekend we had our Wilcox Family reunion. It was a lot of fun. Some of us went and saw Mama Mia and loved it! We also had our dutch oven cook off and played some games. I know most of you don't know my family but the point is this: We decided to start a family blog! Brad and Christine are pregnant and I wanted to stay updated on that and then there are more cousins that i have no idea what they are doing so I think this will be a good way to stay in touch. So my aunt, my sister and I are going to get it all set up and I'm way excited! I hope everyone will participate.
So that's it for now. I'm off to do something productive... or maybe not. We'll see how I feel. HaHa!

Bear Lake!

This Past Sunday we went to Bear lake and had a blast. We went with my Mom and dad and sisters and met my Uncle and Aunt there with their boys. We all had a lot of fun. I love going to
the lake with my sisters the best because we like to do the same things there. We grew up on that lake and we really know how to have fun. Anyway, we were there for probably about 5 hours and one thing we all know about Bear Lake is that it is notorious for causing sun burns so we all made sure to cover up well with the sunblock. When we were cleaning up Jeremy came up to me and informed me that we forgot to get his feet and legs. Oh crap! 5 hours at Bear lake with no protection from the sun is NOT a good thing. When we got home that night he took off his shoes and socks to see the damage. They looked pretty red but that was to be expected. Well that night at four in the morning my phone rings. (Jeremy works nights.) He was calling to let me know that he was coming home. He has to wear special shoes at his work and after they took their lunch he couldn't get his feet back in his shoes because they had swollen so much. And when he walked in he was limping. I didn't actually see his feet until that morning when I woke up and I about crapped my pants! They were huge with blisters all along the top. We also found a couple blisters on his legs. We actually ended up taking him to the insta care and he is now out of work for about three days while he heals. He has to stay all wrapped up in special cream and gauze. I feel terrible for him. At least next time we wont forget to keep him safe.
But on a happier note, Harlee had a good time in the shallow water and mud and we got some really cute pictures. And to all of you out there thinking about going to Bear Lake, just remember to cake on the sunscreen, for real. I had on spf 30 and still got a little burned. Take care and have fun!

No title

Every morning Jeremy gets home from work and comes in to the room to say good morning to me and Harlee. And then being the wonderful man he is he takes Harlee in to change her diaper. I don't know if he realizes how well I can hear them through the walls. He is so cute with her. Lately she throws fits when you change her and today he just talked real soft to her and then when he was done he walked her around just talking to her until she was happy.
He is such a good daddy. He loves his girl so much and I am really so thankful for all that he does to help out with her.
Oh and by the way, my little Harlee girl LOVES to sing. It's wonderful!
That's about it for now.

BIG LOUD COLORS!

Tonight was the first time my baby saw fireworks. It was so cool. She jumped at the very first big boom but then she just sat mesmerized the entire time. And if you know how she is, that is a big thing. I just wish her daddy could have been there to see. It's OK though because it's only the second so we have two more chances for him to come with us. It will be fun!
I love the fourth of July! I love all that it represents. Tonight I was thinking about how I'm going to teach her how important this holiday is and what it means to us and I got a little emotional. I just want her to be thankful for all the sacrifices that have been made for her, and me and all of us that live in this great country. Hopefully she will still have something to be grateful for when she gets to be my age.
So Happy Fourth of July all! Enjoy it with a thankful heart.

STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!

I just want to say how angry I am at the stupid girls at the Hogle Zoo. They couldn't figure out how to run my dang card at the gift shop so they took my info on one of the old school charge slips and now they have charged my card not once, but three times!!I am ticked! They are going to be hearing nasty words from me tomorrow morning. Well, maybe not nasty words, but definitely a nasty tone of voice dang it! I just had to vent before I go to bed or I might not have been able to get to sleep. I still might have a hard time but at least I got out a little of my frustration. Night all.
