Mom and Dad got a letter from Whitney. I was so excited to hear that she is doing well. She actually sounds like she is having fun, although mom was just summarizing her letter for me. I will be excited to get my very own letter in the mail for my sister.

Also, I haven't really updated on Little Bird lately. She has been sick the past couple week on and off with different stuff. Not fun for anyone involved. When I was at my mom's house we all went to lunch one day. I wondered how Little Bird was feeling and if i should go but she seemed to be doing better until she THREW UP ALL OVER!!! Oh, man. But it was weird how my mommy adrenalin just kicked in and disregarded the fact that she was getting puke all over me as well, and I just got things done. And Jamie Lynn was so good to just jump up and start cleaning up too. She will be an awesome mommy some day!!

Besides being sick she has been so dang cute. She is mimicking so much lately so she learns a new word practically every day and she loves to giggle with us. She seems to be so smart but I realize I have mommy biased going on and I can't say for sure how smart she is in real world standards. But I adore her little face and her little personality and am so excited for her to keep growing an learning. Yes I know that will just end up making me older, but she is so worth it.

I think that is about all for now, or at least all that I can think of at this hour of the night.... HA! Who am I kidding, I have a hard time thinking every hour of every day. It worries me some. OK, 'nuff said. Bye now.

TTFN

Yesterday as a family we took Sister Wilcox to the MTC and said goodbye for 18 months. It was a Happy and a sad experience. I was so nervous for her but I know she will be great. I just can't wait to start hearing from her. I need to write her a letter tonight. If any of you would like her address let me know. I know she will love hearing from anyone and everyone. The Wilcox family has a missionary!!

Oh Willie

As most of you know, (ha ha, I say that like there are a lot of people out there who read my blog! LOL, anyway...) I LOVE music!! It is my drug, my sanity, my sanctuary. Well, a while back I bought a Willie Nelson CD. Of coarse everyone has heard of him or something sung by him so I figured it wouldn't be a bad addition to my collection. Well, I was blown away. This man is so thoroughly talented. And he has written more songs than I ever imagined!! So today in the store I heard him on the radio singing a song I have never heard before. Of coarse I loved it and I came home intent on finding it on Playlist.com. If you have never heard of this sight before you should look into it. You cannot download music to your computer but you have your own page kind of like Facebook and you just build all the play lists you want. So I was looking for this new song, and have yet to find it, but I have found a TON of songs by Willie that I just love! When I listen to him sing I get butterflies in my tummy. You may think I am silly, but his music is so fulfilling and lovely to me. Or so fun and happy. Or poignant and sad. I just love that man and the world will suffer a terrible loss when it's his time to leave the earth. I know I sound crazy and corny, but I'm sure all of you have some music or artist or group that makes you feel the same way and I would just like to encourage everyone to let a little more of that music into their lives. What a wonderful feeling!!

Little Bird, what did you do!?!

Last night after I had given Little Bird her bath and put her to bed I wen to drain the tub and found this...... What is it you may ask. Well here is a closer look.... Apparently she thought her little lamb needed a bath as well. It kind of looked dead to me. Ha ha. So I took it out, and rang it out and it has been sitting on the bathroom sink drying out. Poor little thing. And the part that scares me is I don't even know when she had time from the time I got her out of the tub to the time I put her to bed to run in there and drown her lamb. My goodness, she has become quick and sneaky. I'm very thankful she didn't decide to crawl back into the tub by herself.

Weekend update...

On my birthday my car broke down. That was a real bummer. We were on our way to my mom and dad's house for the weekend and when we stopped to fill up with fuel I noticed smoke and a BIG leak coming from the engine. Oh great. So we hurried to take it in to a mechanic and my dad came to rescue us. While he was there we found out it was the water pump. So we left the car there and were on our way. When he passed the exit to get to his house I realized something was going on. They surprised me by taking me to Rodizio Grill. That was delicious and fun. And then when we finally got home they had a HUGE cake for me and some cards and gifts. It ended up being a very nice birthday besides the fact that my car died. The next day Jeremy, Whitney and I went to the temple with Jamee, Chad and her brother Austin who is also going on a mission. That was a nice long day. And on Sunday was Whitney's "farewell" talk and so many people were there. My old friends Steven and Jason were there and it was so nostalgic being in that church with the two of them again. We were like The 3 Amigos back in the day and all from being in the same ward. After the meeting we were all standing around talking and our former bishop came up to us and gave us all a big group hug saying, "Oh, here's all my kids!" it made me cry a bit. I just love that man, and I love my friends. My great grandma also came and before she left i bent to give her a kiss and a hug and told her I love her. She said to me, "That's why I am so happy, It's all this love that I have gathered around me." As she said it I saw tears sparkle in her eyes and it made my emotion gather also. I am so grateful to her for the Legacy that she has given me. So Sunday was a pretty big day and there were a lot of people snuggled in my mom and dad's quaint home. Whitney gave a very nice, spiritual talk and we had a lot of fun visiting with loved ones. So that was my weekend. Hopefully the car will be fixed soon and we will be able to go about our normal lives.

Tagged!!!!

I really don't do tags. I'm sorry people if you have chosen me to do one in the past. It's not that I don't think they are fun, I just HATE the copy paste thing. Then you have to go through and delete all the answers and make everything look pretty again and I just get frustrated. I will work on it... later. LOl
