BIG LOUD COLORS!

Tonight was the first time my baby saw fireworks. It was so cool. She jumped at the very first big boom but then she just sat mesmerized the entire time. And if you know how she is, that is a big thing. I just wish her daddy could have been there to see. It's OK though because it's only the second so we have two more chances for him to come with us. It will be fun!
I love the fourth of July! I love all that it represents. Tonight I was thinking about how I'm going to teach her how important this holiday is and what it means to us and I got a little emotional. I just want her to be thankful for all the sacrifices that have been made for her, and me and all of us that live in this great country. Hopefully she will still have something to be grateful for when she gets to be my age.
So Happy Fourth of July all! Enjoy it with a thankful heart.

I have always loved Independence Day too; I'm glad that my parents taught me to appreciate living in this amazing country. I'm sure you will do a great job of teaching Harlee the same. Yay U.S.A.!!!

Oh how sweet....isn't it fun to watch them learn all this crazy stuff? Whats everyday to us is a new adventure for them.....Taycee was fussy just before the fireworks started(only cuz it was bedtime) but once they started she was glued. Makes you wanna cry watching them. And isn't it great that Heavenly Father loves us so much that he sent them to us? I love your blog!
