Hardware Ranch
These are pictures of our adventure to Hardware ranch in January. I have been wanting to do this since I moved to Cache Valley 7 years ago and I was so excited when we made the plan. My parents came the night before and we were all having a lot of fun when I realized I felt funny... but a familiar funny... I was getting sick. I had a bit of a sore throat that day but as soon as I realized the aches it was all over. That night I had a horrible fever! My mom took Harlee who had decided she wanted to sleep with me that night and I was miserable all night long. As soon as Jeremy got home that morning I had him take me to the insta care where they said it must be strep even though the fast test came back negative. So they gave me meds and sent me home to rest. ( Side note... the medicine never helped me get better. After feeling horrible for days and my second cold sore in less than two weeks I came to my own conclusion that it was the cold sore virus attacking my system and throat... I hope it never happens again to test my hypothesis!) On with my story.... since I had been wanting to do this for so long, and the fact that I had a huge panic attack thinking about all my family going up the canyon without me and something horrible possibly happening to them, I decided to go regardless of my gross-O-ness. So I drugged myself up and off we went. It was well worth it. I kept fever reducers in me and felt OK the whole time. Good enough to have fun. And we learned so many cool things that I don't even have a slight remembrance of now. Then we went back to Aunt Debbie's and her and Doyle fixed us some Hershey's hot cocoa. It was so delicious. Especially since, by this time, I was starting to get the chills again and the day was catching up to me. Then we all disbanded, Everyone went home, and I slept. ( Take a close look at the picture of Cassie and I in the car together. Jeremy was being mischievous as always and I think Harlee makes an appearance in that one also. LOL)
