Who needs comedy central

The other day Harlee and I were looking at all different kinds of animals on the computer. We saw giraffes, hippopotamus's, Koala Bears, Panda Bears, Black bears, kittens, dogs, kangaroos, rhinos, lions, dolphins, killer whales, and the list goes on. We were having a lot of fun learning all about these cool animals. Then we came to one that she knew for sure. I asked her, "Harlee, What are these?" She responded......
"Chicken Nuggets!"

The other day I let a man and his friend cross in from of my car in the parking lot. He looked up at me, flashed me a nice big smile, then WINKED and me. I totally blushed! It was so cute and it just made my day. I don't get many people winking at me these days. So thank you sir!

Today, after my family left, Cheli helped me tie my quilt. She is SPEEDY! We got it done before Jeremy and Harlee got up from their nap so Cheli and I took a fun trip into town. I got some eyeshadow, Cheli got some books and we had a blast doing it all. Thanks Cheli for always being so wonderful and putting up with me. ;) And thank you aunt Debbie for letting me use your quilting frame.

Tonight after I got home and Halee was asleep my neighbor, Katie, texted me and wanted to know if I would like to run with her to get a frosty from Wendy's. It was just a short little trip but I really enjoyed running away with her for a little bit. She is a great neighbor and a wonderful friend. We decided to try and make it our Saturday night thing. It's the only time our husbands are home to keep an eye on our kids. So that will be great fun.

Well, I think that is all. Jeremy was so good to watch Harlee today while I did my thing and I love him very much for all his help and support. Now it is time for rest so we won't fall asleep watching conference tomorrow. LOL

You know how you can always remember how bad it hurts to stub your toe?.. yeah that hurt. Well I don't just have to remember anymore. OUCH!!! I really hate that feeling!

Sick Baby

Yesterday evening Harlee started getting sick and it just progressed. The night was hard with her running a fever of 103 and being down right miserable. I took her into the doctor today and she tested negative for strep so we are looking at a stupid virus. Just watching her today made me want to cry. And she DID cry. Almost non stop all day long. It really is heartbreaking to see your baby suffering. Tonight she was feeling a bit better but I think only because her fever is finally succumbing to the medicine I've been giving her all day, (which she absolutely does not like taking). So hopefully my little girl will start feeling better soon. And watch out moms, it is going around. Good Luck to the rest of you.

I wanted to say something about Patrick Swayze, and the only word that keeps coming to mind is PASSION. He was passionate about everything he did and you could feel it in everything he did. He LIVED! Thanks Patrick for bringing passion into our lives! May you rest in peace now that your suffering is over.

Never Forget

I have a very patriotic spirit. I believe that is because it is so intertwined with my faith. This country is a special gift to us from God and I am continually thankful for the blessing of living in the United States of America. On this day of remembrance I just want to be one of the many who thank the people who serve our country and defend our freedom! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!
