Sick Baby

Yesterday evening Harlee started getting sick and it just progressed. The night was hard with her running a fever of 103 and being down right miserable. I took her into the doctor today and she tested negative for strep so we are looking at a stupid virus. Just watching her today made me want to cry. And she DID cry. Almost non stop all day long. It really is heartbreaking to see your baby suffering. Tonight she was feeling a bit better but I think only because her fever is finally succumbing to the medicine I've been giving her all day, (which she absolutely does not like taking). So hopefully my little girl will start feeling better soon. And watch out moms, it is going around. Good Luck to the rest of you.

"It's amazing, Molly. The love inside, you take it with you."

I wanted to say something about Patrick Swayze, and the only word that keeps coming to mind is PASSION. He was passionate about everything he did and you could feel it in everything he did. He LIVED! Thanks Patrick for bringing passion into our lives! May you rest in peace now that your suffering is over.

Never Forget

I have a very patriotic spirit. I believe that is because it is so intertwined with my faith. This country is a special gift to us from God and I am continually thankful for the blessing of living in the United States of America. On this day of remembrance I just want to be one of the many who thank the people who serve our country and defend our freedom! GOD BLESS THE USA!!!!

Exciting News

In my attempt to continue to be a stay at home mom I have decided to Become an Avon sales rep. I really want this to work and I am using my blog as a promoting device. I am sorry if this bugs some people but I really want to be able to bring in some extra money for us while staying home with my baby girl. So I am posting a link to my Avon web site. http://www.youravon.com/shaycollier If you are interested in anything you can go there and order right from my page. The products can be delivered right to your house and I still get the credit. Great system huh. ;) You can also call me for a catalog or anything else.
Anyway, I would really love everyone to check it out. Thank you all for your support and friendships.

August update

Is August really nearing it's end?? I can feel the change in the weather. It has been so cool here. Still warm enough to swim , but night time rolls around and I'm cuddling in blankets. Let's see. Jeremy turned 27 on the 2nd. Jake came just for Jer's birthday which was so nice of him and brought him a bunch of cloths. Jake is such a great brother, always looking out for us. Then we all went and ate lunch at the park with Jeremy's parents and had a nice time. Luckily they brought a cake because the day before was really hectic for me and I didn't get the chance to get one. And for Jeremy's birthday gift he wanted a popcorn popper. So he found one that he liked, and that night after Harlee was asleep he made popcorn for us and we sat on the couch and watched a movie together. It had been a while since that happened and it was nice. So that was Jeremy's birthday.

This month so far has been busy also. Mom and Dad have been spending as much time here as possible. I think they want to get in as much Harlee time as they can before the summer ends. So we have had a lot of fun. And I like that I actually have things to do, you know, besides the normal day to day stuff, like the fair, and this last weekend we went Huckleberry picking and then headed up to Montpelier to watch Ryan and Kelly (Aunt Debbie's husband's son and daughter in law) play in a soft ball game. While there we also got to hang out at the Bear lake county fair. LOL It was..... small. But still, fun. Aunt Debbie got smacked in the hand with a ball and the sucker swelled up so bad. I ran to get some ice but was trying to figure out what to use as a pack when i realized I was loaded down with diapers. So I grabbed one and it worked great.
Just a little FYI for mom's on the go. Ha ha. Anyway, the hand was not broken, just looked really nasty. All in all a good trip.
Today my dad got his gal bladder taken out. It was causing him lots of pain and trouble so they got rid of the thing. Mom said he did well and now
he just has to get healed up. I think that is about it so far. Long boring story for those of you still here. Sorry. Thought i should post something. LOL Hopefully soon I will have more fun stories for you all.

P.S. I did a picture collage to make the upload easier. The cows and quilts are from the fair in Idaho, the rides are the ones from Cache Valley. And you have to find the picture of my Aunt Debbie's hand. It is kind of little, but totally cool and gross at the same time.

July Pictures

This is a picture of Harlee with her hair Straightened. I thought she looked a bit like Chucky. LOL We decided there is a reason she has all those cute curls.

A picture of the Collier family all together, well, mostly. There are a few people missing in this photo but you get the idea.

Mom and Dad 2. Love them.

Jenny, Becky, Jake and Jeremy. Love them 2.

Not the best picture. But Harlee loves Uncle Jake.

Harlee attempting to touch my mom's fish.

Harlee sharing her pacer with the worm!!

Harlee after playing with the worm and Aunt Cassie talking her into KISSING THE WORM. I don't even know.

At the Wilcox reunion one thing on the agenda was a Softball game. Lots of fun!

And swimming at Bear Lake. The best place EVER.

Those are some of the highlights from July. It was a month packed with family and fun. August is looking fun as well. Got to get as much fun in as possible before it starts getting cold. I guess I accidentally deleted the pictures of our stay in Cedar City which really sucks! But there are plenty here to entertain. Hope you enjoy!!

So much fun!

I have so much to update about and I'm sorry, no pictures for this one, they will come later. On the 17th Jeremy and I drove to Grantsville and I got to visit with my dear friends Amanda and Crystal Ware and see Crystal's baby girl. It was so much fun! We all grew up together and they are like sisters to me so that was just really good for my heart to be able to see them. Amanda and I stayed up late and talked and it was wonderful. Also while we were there we went and saw the new Harry Potter movie. Sadly I have yet to read the books but I LOVE the movies so that was fun. Then on Saturday Jeremy and I went for an early anniversary celebration to The Big Yellow Inn and Shakespearean festival in Cedar City. We had such a good time. We got there and it was beautiful and we got to rest from our long drive for a bit. Then we went to dinner, then to the Green show and then the play. We saw "A comedy of Errors" and it was so so funny! I was very impressed. On our way home on Saturday we stopped by Draper and took a little trip down memory lane. I showed Jeremy all my old houses and significant spots where memories had taken place. ( I lived in Draper until 6th grade when we moved to Grantsville.) I liked it but I don't think is was quite as fun for him. Ha ha. Then we came home where Mom and Dad had brought Harlee because Monday was the start of our Wilcox family reunion. So from LAST Saturday to this Sunday we have been having fun with family. We did a ton of stuff. I am completely exhausted!! I will wait to write about the entire reunion for the next post because we did so much. I have a lot of pictures of the Inn and the reunion that I will post also. But that is my update for now. Sorry it sounds like a bad journal entry, I am very tired and dreading cleaning my house after more than a week of just running in and out. Wish me luck! Again, pictures will be coming soon!! I'm out.
