Good news

I am very happy to report that today my camera came home! It was gone way too long. I have to charge the battery and find the memory card for it but it returns just in time to accompany me to Women's Conference at BYU. Still no new pictures for now, but do not fret, there will be soon! I LOVE MY CAMERA!!! Have a good day all.

I'd like to mention

I just had the best night with my little girl!! She woke up from a nap around 7, (no she doesn't usually take naps that late, she just hasn't been feeling good and didn't sleep at all last night so she was tired,) and at first she was not such a happy camper. But I got some food in her belly and gave her some Tylenol for her teeth and pretty soon she was in one of her really good moods. One of those moods where all she wants to do is play with and love mommy. And I love those times because she is usually such a Daddy's girl. Even when he is gone or sleeping she will call his name and knock on the bedroom door for him. So tonight was so much fun. I would blow on her tummy and she would giggle and then push my head to her belly to do it some more. We danced a little and watched some TV together, which may not sound like fun but it is the cutest thing when she gets up by me and wants to sit there like a big girl with me and get all cuddled in a blanket. Then I played keep away from her with her pacifier and she giggled more. And tonight was one of those times when the kisses for mommy don't stop. I love her little kisses. I'm sorry I'm going off on a tangent about my daughter but I just love these moments when you know that this is what it's all about. I have a best friend wrapped up in this little pudgy ball of a person and I absolutely adore her. It is amazing to me that even though we are on completely different levels, our love for one another can cross those boundaries and connect us so thoroughly. I am thankful every day that my Heavenly father blessed me with such a loud, loving, handful of a child. She continues to grow and get smarter and stronger, and discover new things, and bring happiness into our lives. So this is my shout out to Harlee. Love ya baby girl!!

Sad but true

I have some tragic news to share. Over Easter my camera died. It was a very sad thing for me, however there is good news. For my camera there is life after death. We did purchase with my camera a 2 year extended warranty so they will fix and return for FREE. Well, I mean, at no extra cost to us. However, in the mean time I am going through withdrawals. In my purse I always have extra diapers, wipes, my wallet, lotion, and my camera. And yes I keep the camera and lotion separated. So no pictures for a while. This is sad but hopefully it won't be much longer until my camera is restored and returned to me.

Some of you have asked how I do that cool collage thing with my pics. Well, it's wonderful actually, and if you are really interested its also FREE. Yay!! Don't you just love free stuff! So it is this photo editing software called Picasa. There is a section where you can make a collage out of any pictures you choose and they can even be different style collages. It is a Google thing so there is this cool little feature that says "blog this" then it signs you in and lets you do a new post including your new picture collage. I like it when i have a lot of pics to blog about. However, as you can see the images can get to be pretty small so if they are important ones or ones that you really want people to see well, then i suggest doing it the regular way. And besides this particular feature, the whole thing is really cool. You can crop, remove red eye, straighten a pic, retouch, put in some special effects, and a lot of other stuff. So try it. I have had no problems with it on my computer, it is easy to download, and it so much fun!!!! Again, it is called Picasa. Let me know if you get it and what you think of it. That is all for now. I talked to Tav today. She was at the airport on her way to Mississippi. She sounds really good and she is excited to get out and teach. I am very excited for her and I just want to wish her good luck out there.

Easter Egg Hunt cont.

On Thursday of last week our little family had an Easter Egg hunt for the girls, (Harlee and Kinley) at the Streator's house. It was great watching the girls play with one another and discover the fun of Easter egg hunting. They got some fun stuff!! They loved the little baskets that Grandma Jean got them with little stuffed bunnies and toy cell phones inside. I just want to say thank you to the whole Streator clan for letiing us into your home and hearts. Check out Grandma Jean and Kayleen's blogs to see more picture. I was having a hard time.
