Weekend update...

On my birthday my car broke down. That was a real bummer. We were on our way to my mom and dad's house for the weekend and when we stopped to fill up with fuel I noticed smoke and a BIG leak coming from the engine. Oh great. So we hurried to take it in to a mechanic and my dad came to rescue us. While he was there we found out it was the water pump. So we left the car there and were on our way. When he passed the exit to get to his house I realized something was going on. They surprised me by taking me to Rodizio Grill. That was delicious and fun. And then when we finally got home they had a HUGE cake for me and some cards and gifts. It ended up being a very nice birthday besides the fact that my car died. The next day Jeremy, Whitney and I went to the temple with Jamee, Chad and her brother Austin who is also going on a mission. That was a nice long day. And on Sunday was Whitney's "farewell" talk and so many people were there. My old friends Steven and Jason were there and it was so nostalgic being in that church with the two of them again. We were like The 3 Amigos back in the day and all from being in the same ward. After the meeting we were all standing around talking and our former bishop came up to us and gave us all a big group hug saying, "Oh, here's all my kids!" it made me cry a bit. I just love that man, and I love my friends. My great grandma also came and before she left i bent to give her a kiss and a hug and told her I love her. She said to me, "That's why I am so happy, It's all this love that I have gathered around me." As she said it I saw tears sparkle in her eyes and it made my emotion gather also. I am so grateful to her for the Legacy that she has given me. So Sunday was a pretty big day and there were a lot of people snuggled in my mom and dad's quaint home. Whitney gave a very nice, spiritual talk and we had a lot of fun visiting with loved ones. So that was my weekend. Hopefully the car will be fixed soon and we will be able to go about our normal lives.

I wish I could have been there in person. Know that I was there in spirit. LOVE you!
