Halloween #1

Well, Harlee's first trick-or-treating expedition went very well. We went to down town Logan to all the stores along main street. We went with our friends the Ericksons and had a great time! After that we went to see Grandma and Grandpa Collier and watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth" in 3D. That was a fun experience. However, by the time the night was over, Harlee was not very happy. The whole bedtime routine was mingles with crying and screaming. She was not happy about taking a bath, or getting her diaper on, or getting lotioned, or getting dressed. But we finally sat down and rocked her while she ate and that stopped the tears. I also read her a story and she was really good for that. It was a long one though, I was surprised that her attention span stuck around that long. Anyway, there were a few tears as she went down for bed but it's getting better. Then I went to bed and read a bit from my book and then I was out. Jeremy did have to work last night though, so around 3 in the morning I was being awakened by my phone ringing under my pillow. He was just letting me know he was coming home so I wouldn't be freaked out when he came in the house and plopped in bed with me. But then I was out again. Even Harlee slept until about 9:00 this morning, so I'd say we were all pretty pooped from our adventures. I have posted some pics, (of coarse). I think Jeremy was so good looking in his zuit suit! And the girls and Hunter were adorable! I loved how Taycee and Harlee just sat and chilled in the wagon. Too cute! That's all for this post. Hope you all had a great Halloween!!

Goodness

Here is what I have to say. You dang people better come to this party because the stress of the thing is about to send me over the edge and I want it to be worth it! Today, things have not gone as well as I would have hoped. I screwed up the pumpkin cookies so we only have a limited number of them and I didn't complete some of the things I was wanting too. Although, Steph did come over and help out with things which at least made it funner. Except when she hit me in the face with the big twigs that were outside the car. Ha ha. She didn't really. My window was rolled up but I pretended to get hit and it scared the pants off her. She was like "OH MY GOSH! ARE YOU OK!!" She put her hand up to her mouth and everything. I laughed really hard after I explained to her "The window is up Steph." Ha ha. Good times. It was almost like in high school when she would drive me around, just with kids in the back. Tee hee. Anyway. Harlee is destroying my scrapbook room as we speak so I must go. See you all tomorrow. Those of you that are out of the state are exempt from this law. :)

Well, Jamee told me about Picasa before but I didn't realize how cool it was until I found it on my own last night. I was looking for free photo editing software and this is what I got. It's awesome for being free, and as you can see you can make collages. This is one of all my flower photos. Hurray. This is fun!!

Get ready!!!!!!!!

Hello all. I just wanted to remind you all that this Saturday is the Halloween party!! Hopefully we will get everything worked out and it will be lots of fun. We have decided to make taco soup because we realized that 6:00 is probably dinner time for many. So please come and enjoy some warm soup, treats, games, friends and family!! I still am trying to get some more ideas for games so let me know if you have any. Oh and, I am also going to have a Scentsy basket set up for those of you who are into that, and you can see if you want something. No, this whole party was not a farce just to get you to buy Scentsy stuff, I just wanted something else there and my aunt gets 50% off anything she orders because I booked off of her show. So, just a little something extra if anyone is interested. Have a great week and we'll see you at the PARTY!!!

True Friends

I have recently been getting back in touch with one of my best friends from high school. We always had a really strong connection, but for some reason or another we drifted apart after high school. We have been talking lately and it is really good to talk with someone who knows me so well, and loves me because of all the things they know. Did that make sense? It is making me realize, all over again, how important it is to have friends in your life. Not just people you get along with, hang out with sometimes, (although that is good too,) but people who really get you. People who really know you, love you, want to be around you because your lives are better when they are mingled together. I believe that true friends like that are a necessity in life and no one should pass up the chance to have that.
It is a little bit hard once you get married. For a long time you think that all you ever need is that person, and granted, I could live my life and be happy if it were just Jeremy and I. But it is also so good to have others to fill your heart and I just wanted to give a shout out to all of you out there who have been such an important part of my life, and my soul. I love you all.
It's late so if this blog makes no sense, I'm sorry. I just feel so thankful and wanted to share.
